Arrival of ‘NGON SHUEN’ Marks a New Milestone at Baraka Ship Recycling

We are pleased to announce the commencement of operations at Baraka Ship Breaking & Recycling.
Following the attainment of our Hong Kong Convention (HKC) Compliance Certificate, our facility is now operational as an HKC-compliant ship recycling yard, aligned with international environmental and safety standards.
Our first vessel, “NGON SHUEN,” a China-built dry cargo ship with a light displacement tonnage (LDT) of 1,589, was successfully beached at our facility on 4 April 2026.
This milestone reflects our commitment to safe, responsible, and environmentally sound ship recycling.
